ASHEVILLE | NORTH CAROLINA | NATIONWIDE
You deserve to see yourself the way your people see you. Not a quick snapshot. Not an AI-generated version of you. A real, beautiful portrait that stops you every time you see it. That is what I create here. And if you're ready for portraits, not just pictures, you've come to the right place.
I'm Yvette Freeman, owner of Red Angle Photography and an award-winning portrait photographer based in the Asheville/Hendersonville area of western North Carolina. I'm a Winston-Salem native and a magna cum laude graduate of Bennett College in Greensboro.
I spent nearly 20 years telling other people's stories, in broadcast and print media, corporate and nonprofit communications, and 11 years in higher education publishing. That background taught me something I carry into every session: everyone has a story worth telling well.
Here's what I know for sure. A great portrait isn't just a photo. It's a keepsake. Years from now, it'll remind you of who you loved, what you built, and who you were becoming. I take that seriously, and I have fun doing it.
I create portraits for individuals, solopreneurs, creative artists, and companies who want to be seen clearly and remembered well. So look around my website, then reach out. I'd love to discuss a portrait session that captures exactly how you want to be seen.
"As the owner of Red Angle Photography, Yvette possesses a rare and powerful gift. She doesn’t just take photographs; she captures the very soul of a brand, the authentic emotion of a moment, and the unspoken story behind a person’s vision. Her work is a masterclass in visual communication. With an artist’s eye for light and composition and an empathetic heart, she creates a space where her clients feel seen, understood, and empowered. The resulting images are not just beautiful—they are strategic assets that enable businesses to connect with their audience on a deeply authentic level. You can immediately see the quality and feel the passion she pours into every single frame."
